General dentistry Dental emergencies

Our clinic within the Hôpital Kirchberg (HRS) is the group’s referral centre: orthodontics, endodontics and scheduled emergency appointments are brought together there.

The general dentist will provide routine care there and will refer patients who need specialised treatment to the site’s orthodontists or endodontists, as part of an in-house coordination.

The position reports to the head of the Kirchberg clinic.

Your responsibilities

Main responsibilities

  • Provide general dentistry consultations: check-ups, restorative treatment, scaling, regular patient follow-up.
  • See and treat scheduled dental emergencies (acute pain, broken tooth, loose crown) in the dedicated slots.
  • Refer patients who need specialised treatment to the site’s orthodontists or endodontists, as part of an in-house coordination.
  • Ensure the traceability of care and keep the patient record in line with the clinic’s protocols.
  • Contribute to the quality of the welcome and to patient satisfaction, in keeping with the group’s commitments.
  • Visit patients hospitalised at the Hôpital Kirchberg (HRS) who need dental care, in their rooms.

General dentistry

  • Check-ups and oral health assessments.
  • Restorative treatment (decay, fillings).

  • Scaling and first-line periodontal follow-up.

Dental emergencies

  • Scheduled emergency appointments, booked at short notice.
  • Initial diagnosis and pain relief or stabilisation treatment.
  • Referral to the site’s endodontist or orthodontist where specialised treatment is required, with a report in every case.

  • A team player in a multidisciplinary setting, used to coordinating with the clinic’s specialised practitioners.

What counts as a plus

  • Experience of emergency care.
  • Hospital experience.
